Going to the airport was a smooth and timely ride. I allowed myself enough time for transportation prior to my departure time, the nice gentleman helped me load and unload my luggage onto the van. However the ride back was frustrating! I came to the pickup at 2H curbside outside of dulles airport at approx 4:32pm. I then called the Doubletree Hotel to inquire about if I missed the van, she said no that the Van should be there soon, after waiting for 15 mins I called back to inquire again and was then told that I supposedly missed the van and the next one would arrive by 5:10 since they were leaving the hotel at 5pm. I was very bummed, but had no choice but to wait. 5:10pm rolled around, no bus. 5:15pm rolled around. No bus. 5:20pm no bus. 5:30pm no bus!! By this time I was frustrated being that I was told a specific time and I had watched many other hotel vans come and pick up passengers at least 2x within the hour. I called Doubletree again, and all they could tell me was the bus will be there soon without an apology issued. Alas 5:35pm rolled around and the bus came. I was mad because I just returned back to the States from an 8 hour flight and I wanted to go home and sleep as well as I was promised a certain time! I will never park at the Doubletree Hotel again, I will def go with the Marriott or something closer and more reliable next time!
