Going on a trip or traveling is always exciting! You are excited about getting to the location and enjoying your vacation.

In order for you to enjoy and have a stress free vacation there is one really important action that needs to be done: packing! It can be one of the biggest challenges you may experience. It is easy to forget important items! It is also easy to over pack! This can be stressful especially nowadays when airlines will charge you extra fees for any overweight luggage.

Since we know how stressful this can be we wanted to share with you 5 Packing tips that will help you pack lighter and a Packing list that will allow you to pack with the peace of mind you deserve!Photo: #Travel #Tip: Rolling up your clothes saves more space than folding it!

1. Rolling Your Clothes
It will help you save space in your luggage.

2. Fold Clothes Together
Take two or more garments, for example trousers, and lay half of one pair on top of the other. Fold the one on the bottom over the pair on the top. Then take the other and fold it on the top. This gives each pair some cushion where you’ve folded it so it’s less likely to crease or wrinkle in the folds.

3. Shower caps: are great for putting your shoes in when you travel!

4. Tissue Paper
For delicate items, try tissue paper. Lay the item face down and place tissue paper on top. Fold it up with the tissue paper inside. Use additional layers of paper as you fold the garment so it is completely wrapped in and around paper. This is easy enough the first time you pack, but becomes a pain if you have to keep repacking. We only use this approach for evening clothes that we don’t want to crush.

5. Ziplock all liquids: this will help you avoid getting your clothes stained in case there is a spill.
